The Presbyterian Church is pictured during Christmas in Downtown 2011. It will be one of four churches open for our Holiday Tour of Historic Churches Saturday.
Start your Christmas in Downtown fun a little early this year by joining in the free tour of historic churches. This event will be held Saturday from 1-3 p.m. and will include four historic churches in the village of McArthur.
Each church will be decorated for the holiday and a representative of the congregation will be present to play music, talk about the history of the church and answer questions.
This event is free and reservations are not required. Participants can start at any of the four locations and visit as many or as few as they wish. A complimentary shuttle will be available or participants can drive themselves.
Participating churches are:
Trinity Episcopal Church – Corner of Sugar and High streets
First Christian Church – 207 E. High St.
Presbyterian Church – Corner of Boundary and High streets
McArthur United Methodist Church – 200 S. Market St.
