A truck and tractor pull is scheduled at the Vinton County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Oct. 22. Gates open at 3 p.m. with the pulls starting at 5 p.m. Spectator entry is $10 and cost to participate is $40, with 100 percent of the “hook fees” paid back to each class. Drivers get in free, as do kids four years old and under.
