The Vinton County Convention and Visitors’ Bureau (CVB) will again decorate the Christmas tree at the Vinton County Courthouse this year and is inviting the community to participate in the holiday tradition.
The public is invited to donate an ornament to be hung on the tree in honor of a special person in their life or in memory of someone who has passed. Ornaments should be dropped off at the CVB Office at 104 W. Main St. in McArthur by Wednesday, November 28. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The tree will be decorated in time for Christmas in Downtown on December 1.
